Founding partner & CEO
An innovative maker with a background in engineering physics and electronics systems. He has a great interest in embedded software and its design, has been involved in technological projects related to the Internet of Things, and did his masters thesis on embedded wireless sensors.
Kristoffer is inspired by the growth of internet-enabled devices in general, advanced localization technology specifically, and by seeing the value new technologies are creating outside of universities’ lab environments.
Founding partner & CTO
Emil has been immersing himself in electronics, programming, and drones for the past ten years. His love for seeking solutions to technical problems laid the foundation for WideFind’s technologies.
After finishing his M.Sc. he spent the first years of his Ph.D. studies deepening his theoretical knowledge in control engineering, including flight control hardware and software, and self-learning flight controllers. He then proceeded to specialize in estimation algorithms and numerical solvers for optimal control of drones. During his Ph.D. studies, Emil both co-founded WideFind and worked as a self-employed consultant, tasked with designing, implementing, and evaluating control systems.
Emil holds a M.Sc. in Engineering Physics and Electrical Engineering from Luleå University of Technology. He also holds a Ph.D. in Control Engineering from LTU’s Department of Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering.
